Peace Corps 50th Anniversary.

Hey all, it's been a while since my last post - I'm only just emerging from the prison called senior project. The graphic novel is shaping up well, and I'm looking at sending it off to the printers sometime soon in the next week. As a follow up to the last post, Uconn celebrated the Peace Corps 50th anniversary on March 2nd at the Dodd Center. The commemoration was an amazing experience and we had a lot of people show up, and we even had some television coverage. There were a lot of returning Peace Corps volunteers who joined in celebrating the 50th anniversary. Carrie Hessler-Radelet, the deputy-director of the Peace Corps was impressed with our poster designs and from what I understand, the show will move to Washington D.C. after it has toured the regional Uconn campuses. There were also talks of marketing posters to help raise money for the Peace Corps. I'll keep you posted as I hear more.
